Nawar was born and raised in Highland, Michigan, and has been surrounded by hunting and the outdoors his entire life. From a young age, he watched and helped his dad, D.J., owner of D.J.'s Meats, process deer since he was just a baby.

Growing up in the family business, Nawar was always thinking of ways to improve and expand what they offered—making things more convenient for customers. That’s how Extreme Skull Works was born. His goal was to turn his dad’s business into a one-stop shop, offering both meat processing and high-quality European mounts.

Known for being incredibly organized and detail-oriented, Nawar produces some of the highest-quality work around. Even while running multiple other businesses in the area, he manages to provide one of the quickest turnarounds in the industry. Anyone who knows him knows this—he truly takes pride in everything he does.
